Why are you a Drone Pilot and a Realtor?
Not only am I a Realtor, I am a certified FAA Drone Pilot. I wanted to add another form of marketing to offer to all of my clients. I can use my drone listing your home or if you are buying a home. If you want to check out the house and the area, a drone video is the perfect way to see things around the property and from the air. Having another “Tool” gives me the ability to check out the roof of the home, any equipment that might be on the roof.
Identifying property lines, the property itself as well as giving someone more information about a home or property that your average Realtor would be able to do.
Seeing the surrounding area helps too. This is also a great tool if you are out of state and want to get a better view of a certain home that you are interested in.
As a Las Vegas Drone Pilot, I also love to explore the Las Vegas Valley and this is a great way to do it!
DJI Mavic Air 2
What do you fly?
As a Las Vegas Drone Pilot, my current fleet is a Mavic Air 2 from DJI and a Mavic Air 2s. These drones will shoot in beautiful 4K and they provide amazing video and details. It will also take up to 48 mega pixel images too. It’s another tool I have that most Realtors do not have at their disposal.
What kind of training did you go through?
My journey into becoming an FAA certifed Drone Pilot started back in December 2020. I decided to learn about drones and how I can use them in my business. Over the summer of 2021, I took an online drone school course. I learned about sectional charts, air space, weather, drone laws and regulations, and how to fly safely. My training is ongoing as I learn my craft. Teaching myself different angles for shooting footage as well as learning the controls and abilities of my drone.
Are you licensed and Insured?
Yes, I am fully licensed by the FAA and have a $1,000,000.00 insurance policy through skywatch.ai from Star Insurance Companies. I am also a fully licensed LLC with The State of Nevada. Las Vegas Drone Pilot LLC follows all local, state and federal guidelines related to the legal flying of drones in the state of Nevada. When we meet in person, I am more than happy to provide any type of documentation you need for your records.
